Portion for the Chashu Bowl was plentiful, the chashu had a nice char to them. Wished it was packed in a bigger container.

It was okay. Tsukemen is supposed to have a fatty/heavy broth but not overly oily/greasy like this and the smoky flavor was overwhelming. I would rate this as straight mid but $3 for a thimble of spicy paste is criminal. Still unfortunately the best tsukemen available in Chicago that I know of, but that isn't saying much.

The broth was so oily for both of the ramens we ordered and the ramen wasn't even ramen. One was flat noodles and the other was egg noodles. At least they separated the broth from the noodles .
