I appreciated the generous portion of fluffy white rice to accompany the deeply intense Szechuan flavors from both the Mapo Tofu and Eggplant with Garlic Chili Sauce. Make sure to get a side of String Bean Salad to provide a fresh and tangy palate cleanser. Chiko always feels like home.

Used to love this Sichuan Noodle Soup - Chicken but yesterday the chicken was so overcooked that it tasted like hard wax and the noodle was not cooked evenly, some were hard and chewy. Ended up having to throw away half of the food. Really hope the restaurant could work on improving the consistency!

My mouth waters thinking Chiko. And I am always thinking about Chiko. The world needs to know about Chiko. Everything is good, but the Mapo tofu and the eggplant are essential. Even if it's just dinner for one!

chiko is the best restaurant in greenpoint. the mapo tofu is the best ive ever had and is so comforting but fresh somehow still. the green beans are also a must
