Saltfish Cookup - The saltfish is sauteed with red and yellow bell pepper, onion and seasongs flavorful and compliments the " food / provisions" with which it is served- which are dumplings ( Jamacian dumplings are more dense and thick than American dumplings ) , green steamed banana ( they have a mild bannana taste but are not sweet - more starchy )and , the yam is the true yam ( the starchy tuber that originates in West Africa, not the orange sweet potato also called yam in the US). Finally, the vegetable medley consistingof steamed broccoli and carrots were not overcooked.
Although I was very hungry when It started the meal, I could eat half . So another meal later.

Usually, I give a 5 star review, but not on this order. I ordered the ox tail meal with cabbage and rice and peas and requested extra gravy. There was very little cabbage, no extra gravy, and there was more rice than anything. I'm very disappointed because this is the 1st time I'm not pleased. The ox tails, however, were tender and tasty. This was a waste of money.

Jerk chicken was spicy and delicious with the dipping sauce. Also oxtails, rice and peas, cabbage and sweet plaintain were delicious as well. 10/10 Will definitely order here again. Good portions for the price.

5 Stars! Authentic Jamaican Food. Tried a couple of other places in town and Cool Runnings blows them out the water. Food was seasoned perfectly jerk chicken not to hot and not to mild. Came with jerk sauce on the side. Good portions literally enough for 2/3 days. Rice and beans were also good. Cabbage was delicious. They follow instructions. This place is a gem!

The stew chicken perfect 5 Stars. The chicken soup 5 stars for taste, 4 stars forvpresentation: a big bowl filled half, bits of chicken, 2 dumplings, small piece of yam, some soup. I would have preferred a smaller bowl to suit the portion ordered. Overall, I love ordering from them, they act fast, send reliable dashers/drivers and quality of food is yummmysrumptious!!!!! Love it, ❤️ 😍
