Culantro bowls are my favorite. Always good, always filling. Ample portions. Great mix of beans, peppers, spices and chicken over rice. Plus, right now they are a buy 1, get 1 free promotion. Can't lose with these! I get extra white rice, which are also currently buy 1, get 1 free.

I'll admit DoorDash can be ridiculously expensive. However, if not for DD, I would have never heard of this place, much less tried it. This place is outstanding! The Culantro Bowl is delicious with loads of flavor and just the right amount of spice. Portion is large and that's coming from someone who eats a lot in one sitting. As some have mentioned, the amount of chicken seemed to be on the low end as I got the "4 pieces" others have but honestly, one piece was on the larger side and as the chicken was so tender, pulling it and the other pieces apart with a fork ensured I had chicken in every bite. The Maduros Frito were a nice complement, equally yummy! This place is easily top 5 for me!

The food here is incredible! I don't know how they get their chicken so juicy. With the spices they use, it is the best chicken I have ever had. The empanadas are crunchy and sweet. Their mild sauce is definitely mild, but still with wonderful flavor. If you like spicy, their spicy sauce is for you. The verde is in between, the chipotle is smokey (my favorite), and their chimichurri is probably the I've ever had. All of their desserts are delicious, but the Maracuyá (passion fruit) mousse might be my favorite dessert on the planet. It is so tangy, light, and fluffy. If you're like me and most desserts are too sweet for you, then you might really like the mousse. Or you could order the maduros frito (fried plantains). They are sweet enough to be a dessert for sure. The bowls are large enough for two meals. The chicken sandwich is also pretty large and the sauce on the sandwich is delicious. The Chicha Morada really does taste like nonalcoholic sangria. The cinnamon and cloves give it an extra kick too. I've never tried the beef, so I can't speak to it. But based on how awesome everything else has been, I'm sure it's pretty good. Also, they are fast! The food comes fast and they have never screwed up our order. Keep up the amazing work, Culantro!
