Authentic North Indian Cuisine – Prince George's Longest-Running Indian Restaurant
Experience the rich and flavorful traditions of North India at the oldest running Indian restaurant in Prince George…
the Dinner For 2 (Meat) was amazing, there was enough food for 3 of us with some left over for lunch tomorrow. So glad we got some extra Naan because it was delicious as well and appeared to be made in house. I rarely have Indian food and didn't know what to order; this was the perfect option because we got try new things.

I'm new to town, having grown up in Vancouver. So far I've tried 3 Indian restaurants in Prince George, including this one. One was ok; one was very good, and this one was adequate. With that being said, have a look around... Don't settle for this place. First of all, the sauces were very runny and watered down, especially the Korma sauce. In both sauces, there wasn't a lot of meat. The goat in particular was very poor: mostly just huge clumps of bone. The spiciness was mild: clearly catering to a Caucasian palate. A GOOD place will ask you how spicy you want it. RIGHT? Not so here. In my opinion, for any Asian curry, this is the same as asking how you want your steak or eggs done. Leaving 2 stars was tempting, but to be fair, they DID include rice, and it still wasn't that expensive overall. It is what it is: food court level slop, but edible and adequate for a night when you don't want to cook.

This was actually much better than last time. They're using better takeout containers now, for one thing. My previous review was somewhat negative, but for fair reasons. My main complaint last time was there was very little meat, and a lot of bone, especially for the goat. This time they're not using bone-in lamb anymore. The Rogan Josh in particular was quite good: nice thick sauce, decent amount of meat. The butter chicken was ok: a little less meat than I would like: a little less tomato paste than I prefer. Overall not bad though. I really appreciate that they improved. This goes to show that the places who offer discount promos are very smart, because I honestly never would have ordered here again, but the promo offer is decent, and I can see there is some quality control here. Maybe next time I will try a goat dish again. I didn't today because of the previous time, but I think it's worth trying now.

Food portions were really good for the price. I ordered aloo tikki and garlic naan which were so good and lamb rogan josh was quite tasty but it would have been better if it had more meat than the curry.

The butter chicken was not good at all the chicken chunks were huge and chewy and the sauce had like no flavour. Usually it's so sweet and delicious. But the last couple times have not been good at all. Will not be back.
