Tried El Fuego for the first time and I’m hooked! The food arrived fresh, hot, and full of flavor. The birria tacos were insanely good juicy, cheesy, and came with a rich dipping consome. Definetly stands out more than any other Mexican restaurant. It's authentic and priced very good.

Best Mexican food since San Diego. Cali burritos are on point. Tacos were great, nice ward soft tortillas. Will come here again when I'm in the Chicago area

each meat was full of flavor, very delicious! only corn tortillas served and cooked perfectly! my only issue is that each taco has a description of what toppings comes with each one.. so when I selected each taco without indicating any notes or substitutions, they served all of them with cilantro and onions instead of what each description said it comes with. I'm sure all the actual toppings would have really elevated them. I guess I have to figure out exactly what each taco is supposed to come with and check off each ingredient individually

First visit I got tacos they were flavorful and fresh. I ordered the burritos today and it was the complete opposite. My steak had bits that were chard throughout the whole burrito. No flavor. My daughter had the birria burrito and again it was flavorless. Really disappointed this time around. Spoke to Elena and the customer service tone could have been better. Came off rude when I was explaining what was wrong with my food. Probably won't be returning. I really had high hopes and was looking forward to a good taco stop for me and my family.
