• DoorDash orderAbsolutely amazing EVERY TIME- the Chicharrones are my go to...a perfect balance of tender and crisp! Tostones are included in the meal as well (they taste similar to crushed, deep fried potatoes but much BETTER) + it's definitely worth the price since I'm usually left with some for the next day ;D The Rice and Bean Corn Flour Empanada is also worth checking out!

• DoorDash reviewVery surprised by this place. I ordered Chicharrones, not expecting much. But the box was HEAVY. Thinking it would be mostly sides like tostones; to my surprise, it was filled with a generous amount of perfectly well done chicharrones, and a generous amount of lime. You know it's the real deal when they give limes on the side.
Was surprisingly not a fan of the El Toro empanada, but that is not to deter others from trying. It was well cooked, had very hefty amounts of meat, and overall, up to par. I personally was just not a fan of the choice of spices, but can still see the appeal.

• DoorDash orderThe Chicken Soup tasted great but the portion was small for 13$ usually thats what you pay for a quart anywhere. I also did not get any silverware or napikin which automatically they should know to send if your delivery address is listed as a hotel. By the time I received a spoon my soup was lukewarm at best.

• DoorDash orderSo fresh and delicious! The Pollo a La Plancha is mouthwatering-ly amazing. The marinade on the chicken breast combined with a perfect grill is phenomenal. The Rice and Beans "Combo" always hits, especially when combined with Side of Pico De Gallo 8 OZ and the addictive green sauce. Order a 16 or 32 ounce container of that or you'll regret it.

• DoorDash orderI rarely leave actual reviews on food, but these empanadas are simply the best food I've had in my stay in New York. I would easily pay twice the price, but I'm certainly not complaining about the thriftiness! Thank you. I only wish my stay were longer so I could eat more of the El Toros.
