Their food is great, but it would be helpful if they would allow for some ability to adjust for allergies as they would if the order was communicated in person. Technically it should be easier to handle with an online order. The Sassy BBQ Salad is always a favorite, but some guests have dairy allergies and that eliminates that option for them. Holding the cheese or even putting it in a ramekin should be an option.

I ordered the Dave's Sassy BBQ Salad and it was a healthy serving with plenty of protein and a very good amount of dressing. It was delicious and it's one of my favorite items from them.
I truly enjoyed my cornbread muffin and the Country Apple Pie Slice was a good size and very flavorful.
I was not left feeling hungry. I only wished I had eaten it slower.

I ordered and paid $22 for the Pick 2 Combo with beef brisket and pulled pork. I received two small slices of brisket and a quarter cup of pulled pork. I have been ordering from here for years and unless they have halved their portion sizes within the last 6 months without notice they gave me the lunch version and charged me double for the entree.
When I called them they said they weigh the meat so there is no way something was wrong, ignoring the fact they have two items on the menu with drastically different prices.

"Piled high?" No. I ordered the Texas Beef Brisket Sandwich. It most definitely was not Piled high with meat. The sandwich was dry and pitiful looking. Had I known it was so small, I wouldn't have ordered it. My side of BBQ chicken? Also dry and small. Prices are way too high for this stuff.

I ordered a Texas Beef Brisket sandwich, Memphis style. It was barely ok. It was little chunks of beef, pretty dry. I paid extra for Memphis style which is having Coleslaw served on top of the meat on the bun. This was put on a very small condiment container to add after it was delivered, good idea but wow! They sure dont give you very much coleslaw for what they charge.
Used to eat at Famous Dave's fairly often, theyre really off my list of places to go now. Makes me sad.
