Chinese food, especially Won Ton soup is my go to when I'm sick and once I moved to Quesnel, I had to find my new place. Golden Bamboo is that place. I've yet to order something I didn't like and their Won Ton soup is magical and has healing powers.

2, 17 dollar soups, filled with what seems like ramen noodles from a package.with 5 wontons ontop each and a few sad pieces of veg. Worst wonton soup I have had in town. Will always go to dragon gate or kakolots from now on.

It wasn't totally terrible but I found it disappointing, especially for the price. The chop suey was pretty much just broccoli, the almond chicken had no almonds, the wonton soup was quite small.

This Chinese food is just like you remember... fres, hot, not greasy! The staff members (on the phone and delivery) very friendly and got my order perfect. It's a close call for top Chinese restaurant Quesnel and that's awesome. :)
The only reason I gave it four stars is, if you don't like a little seared bright garlic flavor in your Chop Suey I would skip that dish.
I happen to love it with a little but of lemon.
