Hawthorne's is a GoTo for 9" and pasta. All items tasted delicious as usual (NY Cheesecake especially creamy) dasher delays left my food warm.
I tried the Personal Pan Pizza for change. Gooey cheesy delight, but I'll stick with the thin crust. the bread was quite thick as is the style, but although the sides were crispy / hard, I preferred a crispy bottom too, thoroughly toasted. Fettucini Alfredo was perfect. it's a larger serving- nearly 2. Delivered; I can add protein 4 three meals. Tip: seems likely that Hawthorne's alfredo includes bechamel; an indulgent sauce from France, which is applied here liberally, YUM.
The Plate of Meatballs Parmesan; slightly soft and very flavorful, making another meal with my pasta.
Highly recommend. I have dined in and sat outside. you got to do it on a great day-it was fabulous!
thank you Hawthorne for being a consistently excellent restaurant I love to come back to!

the 9 inch pizzas are a waste of money. barely any cheese. and barely any toppings. I would stick with larger pizzas . the Mozzarella Sticks were def not restaurant quality. I've had better ones from frozen section and the ceaser salad wasnt good quality either.

ordered at 650pm, wasn't ready until after 815pm.
Cannoli Plate was a joke... the 3 combined were barely the size of a decent cannoli, and 2 of the 3 had no filling in the middle.
of the 4 pizza slices, 2 had barelybany pepperoni on them.
used to love this place, won't order from them again. should not be allowed to use "NY" in their name... new york would never produce this kind of garbage.

I'm a longtime Hawthorne's fan but have to admit that this time I was a little disappointed with my order. Firstly, it arrived a full hour after I placed it but it may have just been an exceptionally busy night - so okay. Not a biggie. However: my husband's chicken Parmesan hero was a mess (very difficult to eat); and my antipasto salad was just okay. No garlic crostini (which is supposed to be included with the salad). I was looking forward to it so was not happy when all that waain the bag was a salad. The salad contained very few tomatoes, too many olives, too much salami and hardly any pepperoni. The whole thing was just very "blah". And overpriced. I added my own basil and ireganIand black pepper for flavor and it was still just so-so. l will not order that salad again (for $14.00); and I'm not sure that my husband will order such a messy chicken parm. hero again either. He had sauce and cheese all over his hands and the bread was soft, not crispy (uh-uh). I've given 3 stars instead of 2 because the hero did taste good and the salad wasn bad (just mediocre). But neither was good enough to order again.

Love the food here. As a former New Yorker, I can say this as close to a NY pizza I have found so far. The Garlic Knots are huge and covered in Garlic and oil, loved them.
