Deeelicious! The best pastrami sandwich in all of SF, in my humble opinion. Flavorful, juicy not fatty with the right amount of smoke. Been ordering from them since they opened.

What can I say.... Johnny has the best pastrami on the West Coast. Marble rye, 6 oz.is the way to go. 80/20 blend of meat with not much fat. Fantastic onion rings that don't slime out of their crunchy exterior.
Plus, Johnny has a great personality and makes everyone feel at home. There is an outdoor eating area in the back with heaters.
Check it out. You won't go wrong.

The meat was a bit dry. It was 4.5/5 last time though, albeit still a bit well done (it makes your teeth stick a little when you chew). Great smoke flavor though!
