As usual, the food from House of Taste was amazing!! The Koshary is my favorite. Just enough tomato sauce, and when you drizzle on the lemon sauce as well, the flavors combine and I feel like I am in Cairo again.

the special hot sauce is literally just mixing water with red chilli powder. It's called meat lovers but it barely has enough meat for one person, I even added extra meat but then also it was so less in portion that it baffled me. Never buying anything from this restaurant ever again.

Hands down THE BEST Egyptian cuisine in winnipeg!! Koshary comes with all the right ingredients and everything just tastes like in Egypt! Truly authentic.

Rice is white and really plain, had to add my own flavouring and doesn't look yellow and nicely seasoned like in the picture. Meat is seasoned ok, but dry. Only thing really good is the kofta. It was fine to try it out for the first time but probably won't order from here again.

My second try and it is great. Nice food and nice taste. And the family running the business is decent.
