This place is a winner. We ordered Family Meal #1 with teriyaki , katsu, and fish, with extra bbq chicken. It came with 6 scoops of rice, macaroni salad, and boiled cabbage (underneath the meats). The fish and chicken katsu were crisp and not greasy. Everything cooked to perfection. Enough for 4 hungry eaters or 6 regular people. It was a meat loaded dinner. Great value, very filling, and enough left for another meal or to pack for lunch . We are very satisfied with our order.

Excellent meal, with this being our very 1st time ever trying iLava...great value and generous portions for our Family Meal #1 ; we included the chicken katsu, kalua pork and kalbi ribs...all were so delicious, flavorful, AND, a big plus, DoorDash delivery was so fast, the food was still warm and ready to eat...thanks for that as it makes a BIG difference towards "total enjoyment"....looking forward to returning and trying other dishes the next time...!!!

I got the regular garlic shrimp and bbq beef, I added the sriracha and pepper myself. Very flavorful, the shrimp full of garlic and the beef was super tender. I usually dont like the macaroni salad from Ono's but I like Lava's mac salad, it was well seasoned and cold.

Best Hawaiian BBQ I've had in years. Portions are AMAZING. Definitely worth every penny. BBQ beef flavorful and chicken grilled to PERFECTION.
