Gyros Stop has been a staple in Springfield, Illinois since 1984, specializing in Greek-American cuisine. It was started by the Christofilakos family and is still currently family owned and operated.
The gyros was excellent...way more than I could eat in one setting. The fries were a very generous portion. They tasted like homemade and not too salty. I would definitely recommend.

The Falafel were very mushy. More like mashed potato balls than actual falafel. The Sweet Corn Nuggets (10) weren't cooked all the way so they were also mushy.

I ordered the Gyro with extra sauce this time. that made it go from good to awesome! And the Mushrooms (10), mmm with every bite!! Def will order again.
