Absolute fire. Meat Plate is top tier. The bread pudding is insanely delicious. I didn't think the half pound of meat would be enough protein but it filled me up so much that there's no way I could've eaten a whole pound. Brussel sprouts were crispy and tasty. Mac and Cheese was creamy and delicious as well. All in all, I'd order again in a heart beat!

Now this is how take out should be done. They gave quality cuts of meat instead of scrappy bits because it's delivery and you can't send it back. Mac and cheese was creamy and tasty, mashed potatoes very good. Everything was Texas sized portions, one plate can feed two people!

The meat plate with beans was moist, and the meat was quite good! However, the coleslaw lacked flavor and had an excessive amount of cabbage. The second meat plate was also lean and tasty, but once again, the coleslaw failed to impress. Additionally, the Brussels sprouts were disappointing—mostly smashed into little pieces, with just one whole sprout mixed in. Overall, there’s definitely room for improvement.

How or why people rave about this place confuses me. For the price I pay here, I expect at least a decent flavor. The common chains around town are better. It's not bad, just not great. The smoke ring is on one side of the meat "thats a bad sign of oven usage," tastes like liquid smoke or uncontrolled pecan. The sides were favorless, the queso had more brisket in it than the half lb of brisket, but also with not much flavor, "seriously add some jalapeño or something." No, eating at the restaurant will not improve the taste or experience much.
