OMG this place is amazing! The Vegan Special (Beyaynetu) is my favorite... everything is perfectly seasoned with perfect texture, generous portions, beautifully presented. This is my ultimate comfort food. Sometimes I get dinner here two days in a row because I crave it so hard.

Lucy always serves up flavorful and generous portions that are packaged well so that the injera doesn't get soggy. Love this place - even though I eat meat, I highly recommend their vegan platter because of the variety of flavor combinations! Doordash makes it super convenient to order but definitely be sure to check out their restaurant in person too. :)

This was a bummer. I love Ethiopian food and was excited to try a new place as i am always looking for new good Ethiopian restaurants (having lived in DC and been to Addis several times. The Veg n Platter (Beyaynetu) did not include greens. The Shiro was too sweet. The Alicha was undercooked. The Awaze Tibs were chewy and grisly, but the flavor was good. The injera was fine. If possible I would say food 2.5. Packing 3.5 the salad on top of the injera made it soggy in that spot. Delivery 5

I love lucys! The beef was kind of chewy this time but other times has been wonderfully tender. The hamli/gomen/collard green was truly delicious. The teff enjera is fresh and delicious! I savored it all!! The sambusas were delicious and perfectly balanced. The awaze on the side was great for the sambusas and for the meal! One of the sambusa orders was missing but not sure if it was the driver or restaurant!

The Vegan Special (Beyaynetu) is sooooooooooooo delicious. I ordered Extra Injera but didnt end up needing it because the portion that comes with the meal is more than generous. The Sambusa is also delicious. 10/10!!!
