Pasta Arrabbiata is so good and the portion is massive! The Foccacia is my favourite, I have ordered it a couple of times and it's always great! The rosemary on it is chef's kiss! Great comfort food for a cold night! :)

Incredibly small portion, $26 dollars for thin layer of gnochi. $8 for extra sauce?!? You gotta be kidding me, at least get proper portions. Pasta was undercooked and meat was way overseasoned on both dishes. At least gnochi was cooked properly.
This is third time eating here, Nook became way overhyped and overpriced place, wont be coming back ...try out Gusto near by, youll get better food and prices.

Every dish is a 10/10. Orecchiette - pasta water ratio, seasoning, and quantity of rapini/sausage to noodle - perfect. Greens - again, perfectly dressed and just the right ratios. On paper, this salad is a sleeper. In reality, it's the best salad on a menu of great salads. Lastly; the Pepperoni Pizza with Mushrooms. Can we talk about the dough? Not only the best tasting dough in Van, but the cook and consistency of the crust - exceptional. Pick up a piece and it stays flat doesn't flop - that's art.
I don't know who's working the kitchen tonight, but yes yes and so much more yes. Everything was the best we've ever had it!!

We love Nook. Pastas and pizzas are consistently excellent. Favourites include the Orecchiette and the Sausage & Chili Pizza. The Meatballs are the best in the city, by far.

The Spaghetti Bolognese was a bit salty, and not a very large portion for the price (and I never say that!) and the Foccacia is almost like a pita style foccacia hybrid. Good, but not as satisfying as hoped.
