Penny's in the Village is an absolute gem, and the Mango Duck is easily one of the best dishes I’ve ever had! The duck is perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside—and the mango sauce adds just the right balance of sweetness and tang. Every bite is packed with flavor, and the presentation is just as impressive as the taste. If you haven’t tried the Mango Duck yet, you’re seriously missing out.

My usual go to is the Crispy Egg Rolls and Pineapple Fried Rice. Portion and freshness are what was expected. I love the pineapple fried rice and usually like hot when it comes to the heat level. For the most part they are pretty consistent on getting the right heat level or not far off but this order specifically felt like they forgot the seasoning all together as it was incredibly mild and lacked any sort of heat to it. You can't even see the red/black specs of seasoning that you would typically see with this meal. I usually crave their food but this time it was so disappointing and did not meet the usual standard.
I'll probably order again as it is one of my favorite place to eat but at the same time I am hesitant as it's hard to spend that much money on something that doesn't meet the standard of what was ordered.
