i ordered two of the Classic Chicken Sandwich because they were buy one get two for $6 and some change, and i had never eaten at popeye's before, so i figured i would give them a try. as a chicken lover, i have definitely had better sandwiches. they were filling but just didn't taste that good to me. the Mashed Potatoes with Cajun Gravy were pretty good; i have never had a gravy with a kick to it so that was a pleasant surprise. the best part of my meal was the Homestyle Mac & Cheese. it is, as a coworker once told me, bussin'.

I don't know if the change the recipe or what. But the flavor was not as good. Chicken tasted like flour and beans and rice had a fake taste. Mac and cheese was very good.
Not worth $100 you spend for a family meal.

Red Beans & Rice and Coleslaw were ok but cost $4 each and tiny portions. the Ghost Pepper Sandwich is not spicy at all, food was eatable but a waste of money. didn't satisfy the need for spicy food at all. will definitely never order again.

barely enough gravy for one serving pretty sad and the chicken looks like it was cooked with old oil very dark and very greasy quite a disappointment for the cost I won't be doing it again
