I often order the Loaded Nachos with most of the ingredients removed or on the side. They usually come out okay. not bad, but not really that good. I don't blame the staff, it's expected because of how I order it
But this time, it seemed like the staff went the extra mile. The nachos were made carefully and were great.

slightly disappointed for 1 dish with included 2 sides and an added $5 shrimp .. all the sides are smaller then your palm, so for $5 it's really disappointing and my fave out all I ordered was the shrimp and street corn not even the main dish, so if I had more on the plate like ordering from any mex restaurant it's usually included on the plate in a nice serving size.. I don't recommend the non fried beans with cheese.. The tacos would've been great if they cooked the tortilla or changed it to traditional Mexican tortillas just bland, and the fish was cooked in old oil and needed to add salt to that as well.. Overall I don't recommend most of it.. however I do like how the restaurant made sure to check off my items to make sure it all arrived and soda size is perfect, total was $30 for everything delivered not including the tip ..

My bowl was okay, but my husband's bowl (we both got the gaujillo Guajillo Lime Shrimp Bowl ), which he wanted with no guacamole and we paid extra to add avocado slices, contained one single avocado slice. One! The large order of Mexican Street Corn - Large Side, for which I paid over $5, was maybe one half cup, and it tasted rancid and had to be thrown out. This is unusual for Rubio's, I don't know what happened, but this was terrible.

Very, very salty, especially the rice and the Guajillo Lime Shrimp Two Taco Plate . The food overall was just so so. This was my first time eating food from Rubio's, and it will probably be my last. There are many places I prefer.
