Okay, bet, I’m about to put y’all on. Everything folks have already said in these reviews is 100% accurate. If you happen to click on my profile, you’ll see I spend a lot of time on this app calling out restaurants for sending out subpar food and charging us top dollar for it. So when I say this place is legit, I mean it. Please don’t take this review lightly.
Now, the food is definitely a little pricey. I dropped a decent-sized bag on this order, all in with the tip I paid close to $60. You can check my order details in the review to see what I got. It’s been a long week and I figured, hey, treat yourself, don’t mistreat yourself. And I don’t regret it one bit. This food was worth every single penny.
The flavors are on point. This isn’t sloppy, greasy soul food. This is elevated, well-seasoned, soulful comfort food that tastes like somebody in that kitchen really cares. The crab mac and cheese? Bomb. The fish? Listen, if I had the funds, I’d order that fish again tomorrow without hesitation. Lls.
Lowkey, I didn’t even want to leave a review because I wanted to gatekeep a little. But I mean, these prices might keep some of y’all out anyway, LOL. Sike, nah, this food is too good not to support. And in a sea of restaurants on this app sending out bland, cold crap, this spot stands out. This is one of the first meals I’ve had in a long time that actually inspired me to say something, not just eat and move on with my life.
