Japanese restaurant serving ramen with homemade broth plus small plates & sake drinks.
I had never tried it before. And my biggest doubt was which restaurant to choose for this experience. I can safely say that this food was far beyond what I imagined. Simply perfect!! What I ordered was enough for 2 people and there were leftovers. Fried rice, ramen and a veggie appetizer.

Takara Ramen has become my go-to "I'm gonna treat myself because I deserve it" restaurant! I love the thick miso broth and the thinly sliced pork.(Albeit, I wouldn't mind a bit if there was a little more bok-choy ) Chicken Miso Ramen and Tonkotsu Classic Ramen are my absolute favorites! I highly recommend you treat yourself to some ramen today... after all, you deserve it!

One of my favorite restaurants of all time. The ramen is packaged wonderfully and you can save the broth for later! It stores very well. Get the takara appetizer I promise you will not be disappointed!!

The Chicken Miso Ramen is great. Takara is easily my favorite ramen place in all of Richmond and the tri-cities area. I order from them whenever I can, especially if I'm feeling under the weather. I'm recovering from the flu now, and this ramen is truly restorative and hitting the spot (although I definitely prefer the shoyu broth).

The Takara appetizer might be my favorite crab appetizer of all time! I get the Chicken Shoyu Ramen and it is sooooo good. The broth comes separately so you can pour it when you're ready to eat which is key. I'm so glad we found Takara Ramen! We order from there every week.
