The Teba Wings are amazing! So crisp and wonderful flavor. The Karaage are big and juicy. The Bento was a perfect sized meal. The pickles were delicious-I want more! Will definitely order from here again.

Tasty but on the pricey side. The potato salad is good, but definitely not for the price, which have me 2 small scoops.

The Karaage Boneless Thighs were delicious and crisp. They forgot our Karaage Bowl (was delicious too) and they compensated by giving us free sauce and 2 pieces of boneless thighs. Great place definitely worth it.

Impeccable fried chicken. The karaage is out of this world good. Juicy, lightly crispy outside, and incredible flavor. The rice is well made and the sauces are all great. One of my favorite dishes in LA. What a gem!

In Sawtelle’s Japantown, proprietor Masa Fuku carries on a fried chicken tradition dating back to Japan in 1955. The restaurant marinates wings in soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and apple before covering them with potato starch to produce a delicate coat. (Hot tip: You can order them as specifically tebanaka, or flats.) Whatever you do, try them with curry powder for an earthy, mildly spicy flavor, and pair with sauces like yuzu aioli, spicy mayo, or sweet and sour.
