Falafel Plate
The rice was oily. It was also clumped together in some pieces so not all of the pieces were cooked all the way through. The falafel was fine. No complaints. Just pretty subpar. Didn't exceed expectations. The hummus was more... loose than expected. Not bad. But not outstanding. Finally the complimentary pita was nice, But it was hard. Would not recommend this plate. But if you just need something to eat, it'll do the job.
Baklava
When I first saw this dessert I was excited because the pieces were relatively big. Then I bit into it. It was very sweet, which makes sense because it is dessert. But something was off. I felt like I was on a one-way ticket to diabetes land. Also you could taste every individual layer but not in a cohesive way. Very odd experience. It's almost as if the syrup didn't stick everything together because the layers were so thick it almost seemed impossible? Didn't end up finishing it.

I bought dinner for my friend. She said the hummus was very fresh and creamy, the chicken Chicken Kabob was to die for, rice was good, and she is looking forward to having the Lentil Soup for lunch tomorrow. 😋 Absolutely delectable!
