this was an incredible meal - felt healthy and nutritious while also really flavorful and interesting. very hearty and comforting. the Fattat Jaj is one of my favorite delivery dinners, such a showstopper dish. the Lentil Soup is smooth and tasty, the Falafel is really crisp and delicious, the Beitenjan is really good especially when combined with falafel into a pita sandwich.

We ordered the Chicken Shawarma Salad that cost a dollar more than the regular chicken shwarma platter with rice, and there was not alot of chicken. It was also not good lacking char and flavor.. The Hummus and pita were good but those are usually hard to get wrong. The Ikras Bi Lahma was bland and dry.

Lentil soup = good, good quality, too expensive
Chicken = tastes weird, old, fishy - WAY TOO EXPENSIVE
Rice = comes with, tastes good
Bread = comes with = okay/good

Absolutely delicious. So impressed. The Fattat Jaj was our favourite with so many good textures and flavors and the Lamb Ouzi Royal was also so tender and flavorful.

Ayat has been the dignified representation we need of Levantine food; the staples of Arab cuisine are offered and prepared nicely. Aside from the excellent service to customers and community, this restaurant is my only choice for delicious platters and rice-based nostalgia like stuffed squash and grape leaf & cabbage wraps. I hope everyone can appreciate this extensive menu as much as I do, having been spoiled by my mother's cooking for decades. Save Filistine and free our oppressed brothers and sisters around the world.
