Food ws amazing as always. My only disappointment was the Salmon with Lemon Caper White Wine - The filet size didn't justify the $34 price tag, but it was delicious nonetheless.

food was fantastic. creme brulee cake is awesome. my only critique might be that i added chicken to my pasta and it was not very much chicken and diced so tiny i could hardly find it.... but it was freshly grilled and tasted great! it was a lunch order and there was tons of pasta so i was quite full, so it's a minor complaint. seafood dish was great too

For the first time in the many years I've eaten in, or had take away from Barone's I'm disappointed . I'm still giving four stars because I understand the difficulty in preparing seafood and pasta for travel.
As for the Positano, one of my all-time favorite meals that carries me back to childhood; the shrimp and scallops were over cooked as was the pasta. Food continues to cook slightly after it's taken off the heat, I think I would cook the seafood to just done and the pasta to Al dente.
For all that, it was still tasty. I have enough for another meal and maybe more; that's always nice when the meal is pricey.
I ate one of the two rolls that are part of the meal. The bread was good, crusty on the outside, pillowy, if a little chewy inside.
The meal comes with a nice green salad and an oil and vinegar dressing. I'll eat that tomorrow. It looks super fresh.
Though I haven't eaten the limoncello cake yet, I've had it before, and it's a nice ending. The cake has a bright lemon flavor with a lemon buttercream frosting.
All in all, I think Barone's is still one of the best Italian restaurants in the area.

The Vongole in white wine sauce was delicious but I didn't realize the lunch portion was smaller than the dinner portion since the price was the same. I was very disappointed to receive a smaller portion for the same price I paid for the dinner portion of Vongole. Not sure if I will be ordering during lunch time again.
