Barrz made the first meal I had when I moved to Nashville, and a year and half later, I can't say enough great things. This is very authentic soul food. The mac and cheese is amazing, the Rice & Gravy, Black Eyed Peas, sweet potatoes, all amazing. The Meatloaf has a great flavor. The Homemade Pound Cake is out of this world amazing. Everything is so good AND so sanitary!!

The Pork Chops were amazing! Fried perfectly and still good and hot when it was delivered. Spaghetti (which is a SIDE DISH!!!) was realltthe best. Loved it. Cabbage was good too.
Barrs will be in my regular rotation.

Macaroni and cheese basically had cheese only on top greens could have been a little more seasoned.
Only posting now because this is the second try I gave this restaurant very sweet people wonderful customer service very clean the food just hasn't been hitting

The dressing was mush. The 3 pieces of fried chicken where small wings an dry with no flavor. The butter beans were hard an no flavor. The extra side of green beans had no flavor. An I didn't get my corn bread. It was a waste of money because it went in the trash.
