The smallish portion of pork in the Pork Shoulder Mixed Bowl was not slow-cooked so-good-its-falling-apart, like I had hoped (based on reviews, since this was my first Ben's Fast Food experience). It was shredded and while not dry, per se, it lacked
a moistness that develops when meat is actually slow cooked.
Thank goodness for the (chipotle?) sauce. Sauce saved it.
Pickup location was perfectly fine, even though i didnt see anyone working there. Facility seemed clean enough. Food was ready really fast.
Pretty nifty how showing order-screen to an iPad opens the locker with your food in it. A frictionless, human-free experience. Kinda surreal.
Was too full to try the dark Dark Chocolate Cashew Pudding but my fiancé seemed to like it, said it was "interesting".
Not the best food ever, but also not bad. Gotta have the sauce tho. Overall, it seems like a decent lunch spot for a quick bite; living up to its name, while falling short for dinner. I'd go again. Alone
