ā¢ DoorDash reviewWhat I'm about to say will come across as harsh, but I don't usually leave reviews. Today's is warranted, though. I ordered the 3 Meat Plate from Big Daddy's. Heard lots of great things, so today was the day to try it. The brisket was like chewy pot roast. No smoke flavor, no smoke ring, grey in color. Also, it wasn't cut correctly. If you know brisket, you know you don't cut with the grain but across the grain to make it tender. This was cut with the grain, which meant there was zero brisket pull to it. I had to tear/cut everything. The smoked turkey was good, but dry (I can chock that up to just being a Door Dash order, but that cannot explain the brisket!). The spicy sausage was decent, but dry. Nothing to write home about. The BBQ beans and loaded mashed potatoes were also just ok, but the portions were ridiculously small. For the price ($35), you should expect more. At any rate, it was just ok. I don't understand the hype from this place, though. The best BBQ in Treasure Valley--IMHO--still remains Rib Shack in Eagle.

ā¢ DoorDash orderThe Smoked Meatloaf Dinner - meatloaf was okay, but the mashed potatoes and gravy were FIRE. Green beans were tasty also. Wish I would have doubled up on the potatoes tho! Triple Chocolate Brownie was alright.
