All the food is good here! I only took a picture the Chicken Aioli Wrap, and WOW it was so good. I also got the Gyros Wrap and they give you a lot of meat with delicious tzatziki sauce. The Spanakopita had a lot of flavor and the Zeus pizza was a fun take on a Mediterranean stye pizza. We've only done takeout and the food is ready pretty quick. The restaurant itself is very nice when we've picked up and a lot bigger than I thought it would be. Excited to dine there soon!

Cafe Athena exceeded my expectations with their Chicken Aioli Pita Wrap!!! The flavors were a delightful blend of tender chicken, sundried tomatoes, fresh pesto dressed geeens, and a flavorful aioli on the side, creating satisfying and well-balanced meal. I love that you can always count on a fresh side pickle! The efficient delivery service maintained the freshness of the dish, making it a standout choice for a delicious and convenient dining experience -- I seriously order this 4-5 times a month!

I loved the dishes I ordered. I love Mediterranean food & I have eaten at
Many, many of the Med Restaurants in
San Diego. This is th best I've had so far. The lemon egg soup was perfect seasoned & the bits of celery, carrot, onion gave it color & texture. And lovely moist chunks of chicken breast made this soup sublime. The spinach feta cheese pastry triangles were light, crisp & very tasty.
Definately a winner where I will return often.

Horiatiki and lentils were great. The Gyro sandwich was average, mostly just really old/stale pita. The gyro plate same thing, cold gyro which might be due to the delivery though it was extremely fast delivery under 10 minutes from pick up to drop off, but the pita that came wiht it was literally hard, like crouton hard, really awful. The 1.75 side of tzatziki was about 2 tablespoons and they forgot the fries entirely..

Consistently good quality food! I miss their sister restaurant (Apollonia's closed) that was closer to my home. But I am so happy to have Cafe Athena for the same taste and commitment to quality. They package to go orders with care as well- so no accidental spills.
