The build your own pita was amazing! The brownie was tasty but was small and prepackaged. Not the best value for the price.

The bowl was delicious (the chicken was cooked perfectly and the ingredients were fresh), the pita was warm and soft, but the $3.26 brownie that was the size of a ketchup packet was laughable.

The salad was good but there wasn't much salad to it. The bowl was barely half full and there wasn't much lettuce at the bottom and quite a bit of it was huge chunks of the stalk from Romain instead of romaine leaf. So that was a little disappointing for a $15 salad.

My food is usually awesome when I order from Cava, but today the avocado I paid extra for was completely brown, and they put almost no lettuce in my GREENS and grains bowl :(

The Salad Bowl at Cava is one of the best around -- I highly recommend it with chicken, braised lamb, or spicy meatballs with the Tzatziki sauce. Sadly, this one instance, the meatballs were a bit burned on both sides damaging the normally incredible flavor, and while the avocado and most of the salad was its typical amazing, there was something diced up in the bottom of the salad, not sure if it was part of the avocado seed or something else that was green but inedible and severely damaged the normal great experience. That said, this is my one bad review out of 20+ for this item. This item is a strong recommendation from me, still! Hopefully, this is a one off.
