Food was hot and fresh and drinks were icy, even on WSU graduation weekend, so that part was awesome! Chicken strips were very crisp and juicy, an improvement from the old recipe. My partner said the burger was good/"tasty" and followed their special order requests.
*** I'm not sure when the change in French fries happened, but if you are looking for the "classic" cougar country french fry (a crisp crinkle cut, fried to pale yellow, borderline life-changing with fry sauce), they have recently switched to a fresh-cut shoestring on the oily side that goes best with ketchup imho. Still good but quite different! Not nearly as crispy and kind of tangled up together in the bag. (Reminds me of dick's fries (Spokane) or like state fairs). Not bad, just very different, but if we were rating on fries alone it would be 3/5. My partner described them as poutine without the gravy.

The huckleberry shake was SO GOOD. The onion rings were a mix of perfect (when you bite it and the whole onion does not come out) and not quite--but still delicious. The Butch's Beyond Burger was good too--I asked them to leave off the pickles and add onions and it arrived exactly as I ordered!

Delicious!! The onion rings were so good, I loved the breading on them. And the blackberry shake I got has actual blackberry bits in it! Not to mention the burger itself, which was overall just so tasty. It's not a gourmet burger, but it's big and juicy and hits the spot!
