Crema's gingerbread muffins are out of this world. Old fashioned molasses and ginger plus dried fruit bites throughout.

The kickstarter Kickstart Breakfast Sandwich isn't much to write home about. The ratio of dense bun to the rest of ingredients leaves a lot to be desired. It's honestly cheaper and arguably better to get a couple of sausage egg McMmuffins from the golden arches and come away more satisfied.
The Ham & Swiss Ham + Swiss Croissant on the other hand is always simple & perfect in every way with a significantly larger croissant than you might find elsewhere for the price.

so good. my london fog w rose was delicious and the Chocolate Croissant was one of the best i've had in portland. my Turkey + Brie Panini was also seriously amazing. the turnover i had was a little light on the seasoning but perfect otherwise

I've been coming here for years, love the staff, solid coffee and pastries - Ham & Swiss and Manchego Biscuits are a must try.

In an all new low, the cafe actually ADDED ITEMS to our order without our consent and then charged for them. We didn't write any notes asking for any substitutions. We didn't call requesting for things to be added. They just increased the number of croissants without communicating anything with us and then increased the order total. I have written many reviews of Crema because of consistently poor order experiences. I wish my clients didn't keep requesting their biscuits so I could just stop ordering from here. Be careful placing an order. The people preparing the items just do whatever they want and they're really hostile about feedback/communication if you want to try to make sure your food arrives as ordered.
