Wow, I personally absolutely loved all of the food. Everything was fresh and cooked perfectly. The fried chicken was extremely moist inside and crispy outside. The collards were smoky and phenomenal. Corn Muffin was delicious. I would definitely order again and was totally satisfied. Worth trying for sure.

Honest review:
I was skeptical of this place because all of the reviews were either really good or the people reviewing didn't like the food at all. I thought the food was above average. Not the best or worst food I've ever had but this is definitely a good spot for some soul food. It's probably some of the best soul food in town that I've had and will get it again when I'm craving it.
The Smoked Chicken was definitely the star of the show and was very flavorful and came with an extra piece than what was shown in the picture. (3 pieces) Portion size was good for the price. The Cajun fries and jambalaya could have been a little spicier or more flavorful but they were good overall.
The Mac N' Cheese was about average. Won't blow you away but definitely wasn't disappointing either.
Overall, I'll probably try them again to see how the other items taste and am happy somewhere sells this type of food in town. If you're on the fence, you should try it. It definitely hits the spot if you're craving this type of food. 4/5

A solid BBQ Smoked Tri-Tip Plate. Id give this place a 4.5 because it's good but not 5 stars good. Mashed potatoes were my fave, perfect texture. Tri tip was nice and smoky, just a tad dry. Collards were good but too salty. Portion sizes were good and right for the money. Would order again

Ordered 4 sides. The NW Loaded Beans were delicious! Unfortunately they did not package 1 of 4 items so I never got my jambalaya. The other 2 sides were not as good as the beans. The Collard Greens container was half full and the most expensive, but good. Willing to give another chance and/or try entrees, but underwhelmed thus far. Maybe just a bad night(?)

the serving of Mac and cheese was small and bland . the chicken was pretty alright though . maybe pick a different side then the Mac and cheese if you buy
