Pleasantly surprised... I've been in this area for 3 years now and continuously disappointed in the local food but took a chance & tried the Fried Catfish Lunch! YOMmee!! crispy, flaky, seasoned well, tender catfish inside... not greasy at all. Hush puppies had a light sweetness to it that was different but just went well together. The tartar sauce was 👌🏽

I am disappointed -- this is my third time ordering from here. maybe there is a change in chef or staff but quality dropped. I ordered a lunch gumbo special. I knew the portions weren't going to be as big as a regular dinner platter but I was given a side order cup (like the ones from pop.eyes; small) with tax $14 for a side order cup was insulting!!! to add to disappointment it was just red beans with a mild appearance of greens and rice, no meat. the flavor was off like burned seasoning. I wouldn't order again, sadly. My son said his catfish was salty.

Cajun Fries were mush actual water dripping inside box. They could of pushed in the corners to vent , but no . The Pasta Monica Dinner Dinner was mush and tasteless , the Fried Crawfish Tails were freezing cold . . It took almost 2 hours to arrive. Only edible thing was the side salad, and dressing was delish But very disappointed with this order and the food quality. I heard such great things.

Catfish, shrimp and crawfish were great! Fries were hit and fresh. Kind of disappointed in the hush puppies tonight - small, black and hard as a rock. Not edible at all. First time the hush puppies weren't awesome. Not to worry - mistakes happen. We love Dodies!
