I am originally from Boston, a place where you can find a few really solid cannoli. After 10 years in the Bay Area, DS is only the second I have found that rivals Boston's best (this is for the chocolate chip cannoli, not the one with nuts).
Their other desserts are similarly excellent. The mascarpone cakes are very good, not overly sweet. Surprisingly, the Tiramisu comes in a glass mini bowl. Neat touch, though I don't know that I want to get a new glass bowl with every order. LOL

I got the Monterey a Cheesecake and the Pistachio & Ricotta Cake which were delicious but for the price, the images you see are half the size when you get them.

Garganelli with vodka sauce is extremely bland. There's no flavor.
Creamy Mushroom Soup has a strange taste, maybe too much oil/butter?

Amazing fresh pasta! The sauces are wonderful too. I like going to the restaurant because they also have gelato, cookies, coffee and other delectable treats. If not possible to go, it's nice to be able to get it here through DD.
