The Eggplant Parmesan was phenomenal. I loved that it arrived crispy and fresh. The portion was enough for two meals. I also appreciate my food was wrapped and still hot when it arrived at my home. Next time, I won't have to worry about food being soggy or cold when it arrives from Gendusa's!

We have been eating at Gendusa's in the restaurant & to-go for years, and this is the first time I didn't enjoy it. The (house) salad was dressed and very soggy upon arrival, so we didn't eat them & we love their salads, so that sucked. You can see in my photo the iceberg lettuce is translucent. The eggplant and veal in our meals were good, but both my husband and I did not think the red sauce was good like usual. I'm sure the recipe didn't change, but it tasted quite bland. Also, there was very little sauce for the amount of noodles. You could lift up the top layer of noodles, and absolutely nothing under had sauce on it. I'll continue to eat there unless my complaints above are consistent, then maybe we need to move on.

Food was a little bland but the Veal Parmesan was well cooked. Veal parm came with pasta and a Cesar salad.
We also got the Meatball Sub. I wasnt a huge fan of the Meatball flavor but it is priced fairly and was a large portion.

The BEST pizza I've ever had...I ordered the John Gotti and they did mot skimp on the meats nor the cheese! Hot and Fresh

The Stuffed Artichoke was the best one I have ever had. Unfortunately I didn't take a picture but if you can picture in your mind a good size mound of delicious bread crumbs on top. They did not skimp on the filling and it is very very good. The Chicken Parmesan was good. The chicken in the dish was very good with lots of gooey cheese on top and it is a lot of chicken. However, the sauce was just good. I wish it had more depth of flavor with saying that I wouldn't hesitate to order it again. My daughter had the Fettuccine Alfredo and we added chicken. She really liked it however she said the chicken added was tiny and she wished it had bigger pieces. As you see in the picture it looks like just noodles and sauce. I was worried they had forgotten to add any.
I appreciate very much that all of the hot food was wrapped in plastic wrap. In fact cream sauce leaked in the plastic wrap of the Fettuccine Alfredo but it didn't get on another container in the bag. It's thoughtful of them to do that. We got two Caesar salads with our entrees but we have so much food we didn't get to them yet. I can see us eating off our leftovers for two more nights which is a huge bonus. We will definitely order from here again hands down. I am so glad we gave them a chance!
