Ultimately, this review comes down to personal preference. The chimichanga was decent, but I had to remove most of the interior cheese to really enjoy it. The black beans—unsure if they were provided as part of the complimentary chips and salsa—missed the mark for me. They lacked flavor entirely and had an odd, overly smooth texture.
On a more positive note, the rice and refried beans were on point—flavorful and well-prepared.
The guacamole was another disappointment. It seemed like they may have started plating the dish and then transferred it into a container, because there was shredded lettuce mixed into the guac. That shouldn’t have been there, and just thinking about how it got that way made me uneasy—I couldn’t bring myself to eat it.
As for the garlic butter served with the yuca, it didn’t contribute much. It might’ve benefited from roasted garlic, a touch of salt and pepper, or even some chili flakes to give it depth. I ended up eating the yuca plain, which was actually quite good on its own.
Overall, the dishes were solid, but a few adjustments could’ve made the meal much more enjoyable.

First-time customer, and I’d definitely order from here again! The churros were amazing, the rice had a great flavor, and the beans were nice and creamy. The chicken in the Chicken Flautas was a bit dry and could have used more herbs and acidity, but overall, I was pleasantly surprised. Oh, and they provided chips and salsa—can’t go wrong with that!
