My build your own arepa with steak was delicious, especially with the spicy sauce.

I would've gone for one star, but I've had food from Guasaca before, and it had never been disappointing like this before.
When I ordered the Combo 2 Vegan-Friendly Arepas, I was confused by the option to choose my own fillings. Seeing the "old" next to that section, I figured that meant perhaps they didn't matter, or that if they did matter, they'd be added on top in addition to the things listed in the description, which is what I expected from the Vegan Arepas. I've had the Vegan Arepas before and they were delightful, so I was really looking forward to having them again. Upon receiving my order, I was shocked to see that the fillings for the Combo 2 Vegan-Friendly Arepas were exactly the fillings I'd chosen for them and nothing else. I checked to see what happened to my Combo 2 Avocado Chicken Arepas, and thankfully they did actually have the avocado chicken in them on top of the fillings I'd chosen. One of them looked hastily thrown together and kind of beat up, but after the disappointment of the Combo 2 Vegan-Friendly Arepas I was glad just to have the meat inside.
If I could return the vegan arepas, I would. Absolutely not worth the $12 I paid for them without any of the fillings the description made it seem like they would have. I wish that it had been made clearer that you wouldn't be getting just two of the standard vegan arepas in the combo and that all you'd be getting were the fillings you chose. There's no way to make the standard vegan arepas by choosing this combo. The options hadn't even included portobello mushrooms.
I feel ripped off, and I would hesitate to ever order from Guasaca again. The only reason why I'm not swearing them off forever is the fact that I've had positive experiences with this restaurant before. If this had been my first time ordering from them, I never would again and I would certainly not recommend them to anyone. I would even warn people away from ordering there. As is, I'm just very disappointed and I wouldn't recommend Guasaca to anyone, or I would emphasize that they should avoid ordering through Grubhub and only buy from them in person.
