My lunch today is outstanding. 5/28/25, 3 Piece White Plate the chicken is crispy on the outside and hot and delicious on the inside. Slaw and Beans are on point as always. So good! Best fried chicken in Cordova.

Very dry and inedible. Had to discard. Ordered 3 thighs, 3 legs, and received 2 very small dry and crusty thighs and 4 equally dry and crusty legs. What happened to Gus’s quality??? At $4.10 per thigh and $3.50 per leg, we’re disappointed in having to discard $30.00 of chicken.

Chicken tenders are large and not dry at all. If I had to complain, it would maybe be slightly more breading for extra crispiness. Okra was so good but the Mac n cheese left more to be desired. The chocolate chess pie is the best way to end it.
