The grilled chicken was nice and juicy. The small white plate was anything but small. The pimento Mac and cheese and potato salad were both very good. You really only need sides to share with the size of the entrees!

I am very picky about Banana Pudding. My mama taught us to make the custard type BP in a double boiler. This banana pudding was the closest I have ever eaten to how we make it! It was delicious & the best banan pudding I have ever eaten at a restaurant! The pimento mac & cheese was fresh, not to dry and not to runny, and and very tasty. The pimento taste isn't overwhelming but adds a very nice flavor.
We ordered a mild chicken and a mild tender. They were fresh, juicy, and delicious. I like a little heat and this had just enough & it wasn't too hot to enjoy. However, if you take a bite of one of the flavors and think "this isn't that hot so let me try a hotter", just wait. Don't be quick to go hotter. The heat continues to increase for a couple of minutes. The Nashville comeback sauce was good but it was hotter than the chicken and kept getting hotter. Lol . It wasn't too hot but it was more than I needed. Excellent meal! Very filling! Thank you! Oh, I love the white bread under the chicken. That helps comfort my tongue.

I ordered the Jumbo Whole Wings Plate with mild seasoning. It was slightly spicy, but so delicious! I ordered bacon cheddar grits and pimento Mac & cheese as my side "vegetables". Sides were large 8 oz portions. I also added Extra Dipping Sauce but didn't need it. The sauces were big 1.5 oz containers. Wish the Coke had been a bottle. I know why Hattie B's has such a loyal following.

I wish we had you in Johnson city. Chicken is amazing. I loved the grits, Mac and cheese but two show stealer we were not prepared for was the black eye peas and the bake beans. So yummy. I ran out of room for dessert so we will have to try them tomorrow evening. Seriously nothing was bad that we had. Wish I could give more stars
