Chiayi chicken rice was light and yummy, not overpower with sauce. Look forward to trying other items from the menu. But be mindful, delivery time gets delayed. My order was delayed 40 minutes.

I left a previous review where I stated that the Chiayi Chicken Rice was super bland. I decided to give it another shot and this time it was excellent. I'm convinced that the first time I ordered it they forgot the shallot oil as it just tasted like plain chicken on plain white rice. This time the shallot oil made all the difference (I even got extra) and it was delicious. I ordered the half/half Hakka Mochi as well. The black sesame flavor was not my cup of tea but the peanut flavor was good.

Overall is good. However, the box of Minced Pork on Rice was open when it was delivered with other items in a bag. It may be better to make a double-check when packing food. Thanks.
