As someone raised in Hawai‘i, I'm always excited to try spots that offer local style menu options. Kau Kau 247 did not disappoint. I really appreciate the kalua pig plate, great flavor and not watered down. Mac salad and lomi (altho made without salmon) also good. The rice is perfect too, not dried out at all. Loved the mini musubi options. Would like to see an island style beef stew on the menu at some point! Will be ordering again soon! Mahalo!!

This has to be the best Hawaiian Fusion eatery I have tried in San Diego! I like the musubabies and the teri beef. The mac salad is amazing, its not too much mayo and has more flavor than others ive tried.

So happy that they are reopening in EAST VILLAGE! however they did change the menu.
