I got the Maffe Peanut Butter Stew Served with White Rice, but I called ahead and asked if I was able to change it to fufu which she allowed. The food is absolutely amaizngggg th fufu is fresh and same with the meat and veggies in the stew! Some of the best I've ever had!!!

Restaurant was prompt about communicating that they were out of several items (jollof rice, Maffe Peanut Butter Stew Served with White Rice) and offered substitutes. That was fine. However, lamb curry only had three pieces of lamb in it, and the Lamb Michoui was very tough, not tender at all. Would not order from here again, sadly. Plantains were good.

The Grilled Chicken was juicy and had good flavor. It came with 2 quarters which was good for the price. The rice was ok but to be jollof it was a little bland and dry. All in all I would eat here again.

Let me make this clear before I even get into the raw details. The portions for the food were not what I expected. The only reason for this review to be 3 stars is entirely due to the fact that the portions were not what was anticipated. In the photo, it looks like there was quite a bit of chicken for this recipe. However, I only received like 2-3 chunks of chicken. To put it into perspective, it was about the same amount of a decent, regular sized chicken tender. For $16, I basically paid for the rice and the peanut butter stew sauce. Now I'll actually move on to the overall flavor of the food. For the taste of the Maffe Butter Stew Served with White Rice, it was actually quite delicious! I make this recipe at home quite often and tasted very similar to what ive made. I usually will add a bit more of a kick to mine though. Other than that, it came hot and fresh with a delicious flavor! For the Jollof Rice, I thought it was a pretty basic recipe. There wasn't a whole lot of flavor and it was somewhat dry but definitely not bad. I'd like to have it a bit more seasoned rather than it just seeming to have some tomato paste on it, which is what it seemed like. You cant really expect much for jollof rice though. Overall I'd eat here again. I just wish the portions were actually worth the price. I feel like they just skimped out on the chicken which was a bit upsetting considering my total was around $22 for the food. It makes it seem like they don't put much love into their food! Like I said though, the food was good it was just the portions and the quality of the jollof rice for me. Definitely will be eating here again!

Got the Yassa chicken for lunch, it is delicious!! Fall of the bone tender and so flavorful! They were also so nice in there :) I highly recommend and will be going back often
