The fried chicken with peppers and onions was good with the spicy coleslaw ( pikliz ) and red sauce , the rice and beans wasnt overcooked and was very flavorful and the potato salad wasnt expected but complimented the food very well good job. I would say add 2 fried plantain because it should be added as its a staple of any haitian meal but once again the food was absolutely tasty and filling enough for two portions! I WILL BE BACK FOR MORE LOVED IT.

Lakay never disappoints. My wife and I come or order from here often. I'm a fan of the Griot Fritay Large , and my wife loves the lalo. The large is a generous portion - enough for one person to have for dinner and typically have something left over for lunch the next day.
The food is always great, and the family that runs the restaurant is very friendly. Now that they offer ordering through DoorDash, it's super convenient to order ahead and grab food to go.

This is the first time I ordered from this Haitian restaurant, Iam glad that I did. The griot was very good,merci beaucoup,and the macaroni n cheese was delicious.!! This is my new Haitian place to order from now on. The Mac n cheese was still very hot when I got it. They make the Mac n cheese just the way my mom Marguerite makes it, but much better. The grio was not good,burn,dry,hard, overcooked,too well done, awful, terrible! the fried plantain was just as bad n terrible as the fried pork.Every thing else was good, black beans gravy,the garden salad was very good. Please credit for the large griot n the fried plantain. The rice n beans was also good.

The chicken and grip was black,burnt,dry,hard, overcooked,too well done tasted awful, terrible, I threw in trash I could not eat that meats! The white rice,sauce pois and macaroni was good,Side Legume was too much oil in it,the fried plantains was good. In the future I will not order grio n fried chicken from them. Only macaroni n maybe something else on the menu. Tx door dash!
