Love the variety and the portions are nice. The food tastes very good as well. Definitely worth the price. I wish the spicy dayaki was spicier

I have never ordered here before, and the first bite of the kalua pig was an explosion of flavor. It was the best thing I've had in a long time, the edamame was perfectly cooked and seasoned, so sad I got a small . oooh the poke was alright, I've had better and I've had worse but it was mid. still a good order to have.

I have ordered from this location twice now but overall Makai is typically a hit. The rice was extremely gummy and the chicken was hard to chew. I wasn't too happy about that. but overall it was fine.

Disappointing!! I was seriously looking forward to eating my spicy tuna. It was very very salty, the sauce was runny.

overall kind of bland and often salty. no coherent flavoring. the Chicken Katsu was the better item I got and was good by adding their sauce to it. the Pulehu Steak tasted old and dried out, it could not be resuscitated with the sauce. The pork was also very dry which is amazing because it had a lot of greasy oily mess that was almost sickening to eat. the Mochiko Chicken was ok but a bit dry. wouldn't try again
