Stars off for portion/proce ratio. $8 for a cup or less of Side Elote Corn. Same for the Side Mac & Cheese and Side French Fries. The Mason Burger lacked flavor but the bacon side was a large portion for the price.

I really wanted to like Mason Social, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the hype. The biggest issue is the portion size of their side items is marketed as “shareable,” but in reality, most dishes feel like individual portions at best. It’s misleading, especially for the price point.
On top of that, the taste and quality are inconsistent. What you get dining in isn’t the same as what you get when ordering out. The collard greens had absolutely no flavor, which was a huge letdown, and the macaroni and cheese was overwhelmed by a smoky taste that completely masked everything else.
There’s potential here, but right now, it feels like style over substance.

The Fried Chicken and the Deviled Eggs were really good. The description on the Strawberry Cake was just straight up wrong; it's a strawberry cheesecake and I hate cheesecake. The Side Elote Corn felt like something was missing, maybe more crema or more chili would have made it better.
