Food was cold, but nothing 30 seconds in the microwave couldn't cure! The bagel was quite good and the coffee was DIVINE.

I am giving 4 stars for this order (this order was 5, but the store itself is typically a 3--at best).
I am not sure why, but it seems like the DoorDash food is prepared perfectly. Fresh, hot, and with the correct portion size of fries and correct food delivered, etc. as compared to drive-thru or in store. I know I am paying extra for DoorDash, but it should be consistent any way I get it.
I often go through drive thru at the SJ location and pull away with missing items, underfilled or cold fries, old stiff and black burgers, stale buns, and even have had a "basket" of fries delivered with less than a small order of fries in it. There seems to be excellent quality control for DoorDash orders but little or inconsistent for the other. Just my experience.
It seems the owners have the place EXTREMELY understaffed and undermanaged. The managers seem to be overworked. They are there for too many hours. The owners should be filling in gaps for management instead of them working 12-16+ hour shifts. The staff typically have no consistent uniforms. In cold weather, they are not wearing McDonald's gear, either. If you expect them to work the drive thru, EACH PERSON should be issued their own cold weather gear that is McDonalds. Especially post-Covid. You shouldn't expect people to share coats.I don't want their home clothing near my food. The owners need to step up and do better and train better. This falls on them, TOTALLY. Don't be cheap. My family ALONE could pay for this with what we spend there and make your business more profitable with these suggestions, with the amount we spend there annually. People who avid you would come back. We have started going to other restraunts just to not deal with the hasssle of yours, fyi! You also need to clean the outside of your DT window areas and KEEP IT CLEAN DAILY, and look in FROM A VEHICLE perspective to see what customers see. It is pretty gross, actually. Floors often are greasy looking and messy, strewn with food/liquids and paper products. Machines not wiped down, etc. If John Tapper did restraunts, you would be in trouble. I have waited in line 30-40 minutes at times, too. The SJ location needs Owners to REALLY experience what an actual customer consistently does. That would realize most is under par.

McMuffin has bright green stuff on it and coffee had too much syrup. Quality is always bad when I order here.

Food all tasted great but I only got 9 nuggets (one of the 8 was tiny) and they forgot my ranch.
