It was delicious. Cornbread and sweetened butter was divine. Chicken wings were fried just right. Egg roll was crispy but not hard. I was happy with all of it.

Mert's is excellent!!! The catfish, greens, and cornbread are to die for. Have loved it since I've been here. However, I do wonder why I only get one small piece of cornbread and the receipt always says "2× Side Cornbread" for $8.30 ???

hadn't eaten at Merts in years... wanted some soul food this evening. I got the Mert's Famous Salmon Cakes delicious 😋 with collard greens & yams everything tasted well seasoned and fresh...enjoyed my dinner tonight...thanks

Mert's is a classic. Been eating here for the past 20ish and it's still just as good as the first time. Southern home cooking that touches your soul.
