I've ordered from here many times, tried a lot of dishes and everytime it is flawless! really great curry and lots of great sides. but my favorite part is they're open late! must try the Lamb Vindalo if you don't mind spiciness

I always order from this store, but today Chicken Tikka Masala was like soup with 4 pieces, no creamy or rich flavor.
Onion or Garlic Naan look at the Plain Naan . I don't even see butter on it.
I don't know what happened. I have ordered from here more than 5 or 6 times.
was very disappointed today with food.

they didn't have one of the desserts I ordered (Ras Malai ), so they added plenty of extra of the other dessert that I ordered (Gulab Jamun), and I was super surprised that the delicious donuty exterior wasn't completely mush from the sweet sauce they use. the Lamb Tikka Masala (a perfect pairing with the Plain Rice ) that I got was super flavorful, and a perfect blend of creamy and a tiny touch of spice (I am rather sensitive to spicy foods), and the Mango Lassi beverage gave just the right amount of creaminess so that it cut the spice of the Lamb Biryani, which I am going to end up giving to my boyfriend (who is still asleep right now 😴) with the Chicken Curry. I was genuinely surprised that they were still open at 1:00 in the morning (I am a rather nocturnal creature who awoke at about a quarter till midnight) and I love that they brought a little touch of DELICIOUS to my albeit EXTREMELY EARLY morning! 😅

I am becoming incredibly disappointed with this chain I've been using them for years
the quality is getting worse and worse
I used to eat at their restaurant in Berkeley and Oakland
recently the portions have gotten smaller
the chicken is smaller/Biryani dishes are mostly rice
when you eat at their restaurant the quality is higher
the late night delivery ONLY kitchen in Oakland is pathetic
the samosas are so bland it's ridiculous it's like American food
the Tandoori chicken is either very very slim pickings or simply terrible tasting
I would rate it as a two from 1 to 10 compared to gourmet restaurants in the area that only charge 2 dollars more for the SAME dish/quantity and I would rate them an 8 or 9
IT REALLY DOESN'T SEEM LIKE IT IS BEEN MADE IN THAT TYPE OF Tandoor Oven
the chicken is gluey and rubbery
as if it was boiled! it seems like they boiled and fried it and then added some kind of colors
BUT then a little bit of it tastes like it was in the tandoor-half baked!

I was craving shake shack but I chose a healthier option!! A burger and fries from there is about the same amount as the garbanzo, rice, samosas, naan, and mango lassi! Im glad I chose lunch here, they gave so much food it was overflowing when I tried to open it. Good problem to have. Worth the $$$. Delicious.
